R&D&i PROJECTS

REINDUS PROJECT

(2020)

The investment project, financed by the Programme for Reindustrialisation and Promotion of Industrial Competitiveness of the Spanish Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism undertakes the modification of production lines for manufacturing operations under Good Manufacturing Practices in its 2019 and 2020 convenings, allowing an increase of production capacity and process improvement, full traceability of production parameters to maintain GMPs quality, an increase of performance and organoleptic quality of the product, energy and water inputs reduction, and waste minimisation.

IMPROVEMENT OF PRODUCTION LINES

FOR MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS UNDER GMP

(2019-2021)

The investment project, financed by the Programme for Reindustrialisation and Promotion of Industrial Competitiveness of the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness undertakes the modification of production lines for manufacturing operations under Good Manufacturing Practices in its 2019 and 2020 convenings, allowing an increase of production capacity and process improvement, full traceability of production parameters to maintain GMPs quality, an increase of performance and organoleptic quality of the product, energy and water inputs reduction, and waste minimisation.

(2018-2020)

MoblaStop, financed by FEDER INTERCONNECTA, allows to minimise the effect of whiteflies and thrips, frequent pests in crops in Murcia, by using substances of natural origin, and therefore biodegradable, acting as repellents when incorporated into greenhouses coverings. It is possible to prevent plagues by repelling the causative insects without eliminating them and without damaging the environment since pesticides are not applied.

(2016-2019)

Through the Libercarn Project, developed in collaboration with various companies and the Spanish Plastics and Footwear Technology Center (CETE), and financed by the CDTI, through FEDER INNTERCONECTA, the preparation of active packaging was investigated by incorporating new biocidal substances that increase the shelf life of packaged food.

(2016-2018)

The Aromatiza Project, funded by the CDTI (Spanish Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology), developed, together with companies in the agri-food sector, the preparation of healthy snacks with new aromas that are capable of maintaining their characteristics in extreme acidic and saline conditions.

(2016-2018)

This project, whose starting point is the knowledge generated by the WaterReuse Project, used innovative technology for the separation, purification and dehydration of the acetic acid generated during the treatment of its own effluents. This process also allows the generation of sodium hydroxide, which is another synthesis basic raw material of the company. Genac had the financial support of the CDTI.

(2013-2015)

The WaterReuse Project, co-financed by the LIFE Programme of the European Union, was coordinated by DMG with the participation of the Spanish National Technological Centre for the Food and Canning Industry Research Business Association (CTC). A prototype designed and built by DMG demonstrated the possibility of reusing up to 95% of industrial effluents with organic charge through an automated process powered by photovoltaic energy, which can be operated with a neutral carbon footprint.
